Top 10 Cameos in Happy Gilmore 2

If you haven’t watched Happy Gilmore 2 yet, you’ve at least seen the obscene list of cameos that occur throughout the entire movie. Although Happy Gilmore 2 didn’t surpass the original, the film was still funny and featured hilarious cameos and celebrity appearances. There are some spoilers ahead, so if you haven’t seen the film, go watch it and come back to see if you spotted every name on this list. Here is my opinion of the Top 10 Cameos in Happy Gilmore 2

10. Kid Cudi

Musical artist Kid Cudi cameos in this movie as an FBI agent arresting Hal (Ben Stiller) as his abuse of the AA attendees comes to an end. Hal is one of the funniest recurring characters across these two movies, and his demise is at the hands of Kid Cudi and Adam Sandler’s daughter, Sadie Sandler.

9. Eric Andre

Comedian and personality Eric Andre plays one of the random golfers in the threesome that Happy gets paired with on his first round back to golf after killing his wife. Andre is super funny in these scenes, but especially when his character and drunk Happy crash into Margaret Quailey’s golf cart.

8. Reggie Bush

Former Buffalo Bill Reggie Bush features as 8-ball, a member of the Maxi Golf team. He didn’t have a huge role in the movie or even more than a couple of lines, but seeing him in this movie was a complete surprise.

7. Sunny Sandler

Adam Sandler’s daughter, Sunny, plays his sole daughter in this movie. She drives the plotline of this movie, as instead of trying to save grandma’s house, Happy is trying to send her to ballet school in France. She is a pretty good actor, working in the movie to support Happy, but also trying to keep her brothers out of trouble.

6. Eminem

Rapper Eminem’s role in this movie was short but sweet. He was only featured in the film for a couple of minutes, but it was amazing to watch. He plays a heckler who is the son of the heckler from the last movie (RIP) and ends up in the water with Happy’s ball, being attacked by gators.

5. Cameron Boyce

Cameron Boyce was a great young actor, but unfortunately passed away several years ago. Boyce played Adam Sandler’s son in both Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2. This tribute to Boyce occurred in the starter shop during Happy’s first round back, as WNBA star Kelsey Plum was shown watching a TV screen with Boyce on it. This was a heartfelt moment in the movie, and really surprised me to see Boyce on the screen.

4. Bad Bunny

Music superstar Bad Bunny plays a waiter turned caddy for Happy and has some of the best moments in the entire movie. Happy and him on the spinning green talking about the kind of restaurant he wanted to open, and him hitting an extra golf ball at his cousin during the practice scenes both stood out to me as some of the funniest in the whole movie.

3. Will Zalatoris

PGA tour golfer Will Zalatoris plays himself in this movie, but is also the caddy from the first movie, all grown up. He hates Happy for choking him and making him look like an idiot in the first movie, with Happy continuing this behavior in this movie by calling him “blondie.” Zalatoris plays this character well, even if he is technically acting as himself.

2. Scottie Scheffler

Scottie Scheffler is the world number one golfer, and he was one of the 4 other golfers on Happy’s team taking on the Maxi Golf team. Scottie had a few memorable moments, including using Shooter McGavin’s catch phrase, but with his own name, and going to jail, which happened in real life before a golf tournament in 2024.

1. John Daly

John Daly is a legendary golfer known for his unhinged routine, his questionable habits, and his great sense of humor. He played himself in this movie, but acted as a retired friend of Happy’s who lived in his garage. He offers encouragement to Happy to revive his golf career for the betterment of his family, and specifically his daughter, and has many memorable moments, including drinking hand sanitizer and asking Happy to watch Love Island with him.
