In Sunday’s 23-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns, the Buffalo Bills’ offensive line continued to show its dominance as the team rushed for 164 yards and surrendered just two sacks against a Myles Garrett-led defensive line.
The success up front should come as no surprise. Entering the season, Buffalo returned the same starting offensive line as last season, and every member of the line has started at least 12 games this year.
Through 15 games, Buffalo has eclipsed 100 rushing yards 13 times while allowing two or fewer sacks in nine contests.

Buffalo currently boasts the league’s top-ranked rushing attack, averaging 158.9 yards per game, and ranks as the sixth-best offensive line, according to Pro Football Network.

The one area where the unit has seen decline is in pass protection. A year ago, the group allowed a league-best 14 sacks, and sits on pace to allow 42 this season. Still, the Bills’ sack rate of 6.8 percent ranks 20th in the NFL and has improved in the last four games, allowing just seven sacks, according to SumerSports.
Credit also goes to the Bills’ offensive line coach, Aaron Kromer. Since he took the job in 2022, the line has consistently ranked as one of the team’s strengths.
The line’s physicality and value could be shown in full force come the postseason, where weather conditions emphasize the importance of winning the line of scrimmage.
